Plus, it should be ready in just 45 minutes.
All you have to do is:
- Preheat your oven to 350°F.
- Remove the scales from the fish. Wash the fish with water and leave it to dry.
- Grate the lemon rind. Then, juice the lemon.
- If you are using fresh basil and parsley, chop them into small pieces.
- Mix the parsley, basil, lemon rind, lemon juice, garlic, and egg in a small mixing bowl. This will create a stuffing mixture.
- Place the stuffing mixture inside the fish. Once you have finished, close the fish with skewers to keep the ingredients inside.
- Cover a baking sheet with heavy-duty aluminum foil. Place the stuffed fish on the baking sheet. To add some moisture to the dish, brush the fish with olive oil. Place the baking sheet in the oven.
- Allow the fish to cook for approximately 30 minutes. The larger the fish, the longer it will need to be cooked. If the fish starts to appear dry, simply take it out of the oven and brush it with some more olive oil before returning it to the oven.
