In order to really succeed with any food lifestyle change, it is best to prep prep prep! Setting aside a little extra time to prepare good, wholesome meals/snacks lessens the chance that you will eat something crappy. Meal prepping will keep you on the right track, and it's usually more satisfying to eat a well cooked meal instead of some takeout that will give you instant regret!
This Paleo Shepards pie is a FANTASTIC and EASY meal to prep in advance. Shepards pie is a traditional Irish dish, which is basically a meat pie with a crust of mashed potatoes. And we created one with Paleo approved ingredients. We make these "pies" right in ceramic ramekins or glass bakeware. All you have to do is heat it up in the microwave at work or home and BAM, you've got a complete meal that will keep you full and content!

1 Tbsp. Paleo Powder's all purpose seasoning
Mash:
12oz of white sweet potato
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/3 cup unflavored/unsweetened nut milk
Pepper to taste
Directions
Mash:
Boil sweet potato till cooked. Mash together with garlic powder, nut milk, and pepper and set aside for later.
Meat:
Take all the ingredients for the meat and cook together in a large skillet.
Once cooked, put the meat into a 2.2 QT casserole dish or any other ramekins/oven safe dishes that equals that size. (We use 1 QT oven dishes to make personal pies for lunch prep)
Then, take the mash and spread a thin layer on top of the meat.
Place in oven at 375 degrees for 30 min, or till the mash top gets golden brown.
